Philosophy
It is easy enough to build a project and move on to the next one. However, to build a project with no regrets in design or fabrication requires constant attention not only to details, but also to the big picture of the final product.
This idea has never been a problem for Doug. His biggest asset (or curse maybe) is to obsess about an idea or design until it is just right while pushing the limits of what can be done. Complicated and expensive is not the only answer. He believes there is always a simple solution for anything – you just have to find it.
Background
Deluxeiron was inadvertently born from a busy mind.
Doug grew up in his fathers shop and began learning how to weld and fabricate when he was six years old. Growing up, he usually held a job as a shop or structural ironworker and worked in almost every aspect of the ironwork trade. However, the frustration of being just one part of the machine began to wear on him.
Slowly he began putting together his own shop so he could pursue his own design and fabrication ideas. Doug continued to work as an ironworker during the day and worked on his own projects at night. As the request for Doug’s work grew, he was able to continue expanding his shop. It also allowed him to develop other people’s ideas with a challenge to exceed their expectations.
